@6.00pm

South London singer-songwriter Hillarynx is an artist rooted in Black Feminism(s), whose contralto voice grounds the audience to face these times. Playful and multi-tonal, Hillarynx draws inspiration from Betty Carter, Nina Simone, and the Soulquarians. Without London’s jazz jam scene, Hillarynx wouldn’t be the artist and improviser she is today.

Raised in Wandsworth’s Alton Estate, she started her artist journey in her mid-twenties. With the support of Youth Music’s NextGen Fund, she was able to start working on her debut EP.

Her tunes, such as ‘Belly Full’ and ‘The 3rd’, have been heard on BBC Three, Jazz FM and Rinse FM. She has performed at Peckham Festival, Stanley Arts, Southbank Centre, We Out Here and Jazz Cafe. She is currently finishing her debut EP, Sayyings.

ROZZZQWEEN is a rising voice in modern soul, known for her deeply emotional sound that draws from r’n’b and a mix of other influences. She creates music that’s intimate, cinematic, and raw. Her songs blur the line between vulnerability and strength, turning real emotion into something timeless.
